Welcome to the Department of Physics. Currently there are more than 240 students registered in various programs (BS, MSc, MPhil and PhD). The Department has a very energetic and highly qualified faculty engaged in imparting knowledge and conducting research. Alongside this, they play an important role by providing guidance to the students in getting ready for future challenges. The department has well equipped undergraduate and graduate laboratories for students, not only to understand basic physics but also to provide them with an opportunity to undertake research at the frontiers of Physics.
