 Sealed tenders are invited from experienced petty contractors registered with the C&W department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), and Pakistan Engineering Council for petty nature of Civil, Electrical, Plumbing and Gas works, etc. To be carried out at KUST and Hangu Campus from July 01, 2022, to June 30, 2023. The cost of each work will not be more than Rs.1.00 million. The tender will be carried out on the above/below basis at MRS 2022 Govt. Of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Tender form along with terms & conditions can be obtained from the office of PA to Vice-Chancellor on cash payment of Rs.300/- (non-refundable) from May 30, 2022, up to June 14th, 2022.

Bid must reach the office of PA to Vice Chancellor, KUST up to June 14th, 2022 before 10:00 am, which will be opened on the same day at 10:30 am in the presence of members Works committee and contractors or their representative.

CORRIGENDUM

(Correction in Tender Notice for Solarization of KUST Tube well Sr. # 06)

With reference to the advertisement No.17616 titled “Solarization of KUST Tube Well” published in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) website on March 18th, 2022 & Tender Notice published in daily Aaj on dated March 19th, 2022. The following changes have been made in the said advertisement.

 “The Pre-bid meeting (mentioned vide Sr. # 06) have been changed from April 4th, 2022 at 11.00 AM to March 31st , 2022 at 11.00 AM.”

All others terms & conditions are the same.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. The interested bidders must have completed at least three similar nature of projects in last five years with proof.
  2. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of PA to Vice Chancellor, KUST on cash payment of Rs.500/- (non refundable) from March 21, 2022 up-to April 4th, 2022. Technical design should be based on hydraulic parameter of the scheme provided in the bidding documents and rates should be quoted according in the bid.
  3. In case of bid more than 15% below, the bidders shall submit additional bid security in light of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Notification No.S.R.O. (13)/Vol: 1-21/2021-22/5335-48 dated 15-09-2021 which is available in KPPRA website.
  4. Bid must be accompanied by bid security in shape of call deposit @ 2% of the bid cost in the name of Treasurer KUST.
  5. The defect liability period of 01 year (all allied accessories) & warranty for solar panels for 25 years shall be commenced from the date of commissioning of the tube well.
  6. A pre-bid meeting shall be held on 04-04-2022 at 11:00 AM in the Committee room, Kohat University of Sciences and Technology (KUST) Kohat. Bidders are invited to attend the meeting.
  7. The bid shall be opened in the presence of works committee members & bidders and work will be awarded to the lowest bidder.
  8. All taxes etc shall be deducted from the bill of the contractor/firms at prescribed rates notified by the government from time to time.
  9. Any other information can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day before the submission of the bid.
  10. The firm’s contractor shall provide proof of being an active taxpayer.
  11. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all bids with assigning cogent reasons.
  12. Bid proposal through courier should reach to office of PA to Vice Chancellor, KUST by the above mentioned date.

Sealed quotations should reach to the Treasurer’s Office on or before 20th  June, 2022 at 10:00 am sharp and will be opened in the presence of committee on same date and time. After the competition, committee will decide with whom to fix funds in TDR upon the highest quoted rates, and credibility of banks as per Govt. investment policy. Validity period of quotations will be two weeks minimum. Bid validity may be given for two weeks.

 

            It is further added here that no income tax will be deducted from profits /investment of funds in respect of M/s Kohat University of Science and Technology, Kohat being exempted from tax.
