The 3rd International Conference on Computational Intelligent Systems 2024 is poised to be a ground-breaking event that brings together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the globe to delve into cutting-edge advancements in the field of computational intelligent systems. In an era defined by rapid technological evolution, this conference serves as a crucial platform for fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the realms of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and related disciplines. With an emphasis on exploring innovative methodologies, algorithms, and applications, the conference aims to facilitate insightful discussions that contribute to the ongoing evolution of computational intelligent systems. Participants can anticipate engaging keynote presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, and the presentation of ground-breaking research findings, all of which will collectively shape the trajectory of computational intelligence in the years to come. As we embark on this intellectual journey, the conference promises to be a catalyst for transformative ideas and breakthroughs that will redefine the landscape of intelligent systems on a global scale.

Computational Intelligent Systems encompass a wide range of artificial intelligence techniques designed to simulate human-like intelligence. These systems, including machine learning, neural networks, fuzzy logic, evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence, and expert systems, leverage computational models to process information, learn from data, and make decisions. By drawing inspiration from human cognition, Computational Intelligent Systems address complex problems involving uncertainty, optimization, and pattern recognition. Applications span various domains such as robotics, finance, healthcare, and more, reflecting the transformative impact of these technologies on diverse fields. The International Conference on Computational Intelligent Systems 2024 provides a platform for global experts to exchange insights and explore the latest advancements in this dynamic and rapidly evolving field.

We have previously organized two national-level workshops titled ‘KUST Graduate Workshop 2020’ and ‘KUST Graduate Workshop 2022’. The workshop is upgraded to an International Conference. The 3rd International Conference on Computational Intelligent Systems 2024 (ICCIS2024) is a venue to provide a forum for students of MS/PhD programs at any university/institute to present their work and receive constructive feedback from experts in the relevant field. The presentation of the work will be augmented with general bits of advice and useful discussions about getting an MS/PhD degree, performing research, and different career perspectives. We are expecting the submission of papers from MS/Ph.D. students at any stage of their graduate program.

KUST Best Researcher Award 2024 aims to recognize and reward the researchers for their research contributions judged to be of the highest quality. The potential awardees under this category will be the researchers who have contributed the most to intellectual and social development through their writings (i.e., not simply through their formal titles or positions). As such, while this is an award for a lifetime of achievement rather than a single publication or contribution, it does not preclude recognizing a single publication with a huge impact. On the other hand, the lifetime of achievement should be characterized by outstanding publications with demonstrated major impact.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant has never been blacklisted by HEC
  • The applicant/publication has not received the same award earlier
  • None of the publications on Applicant/Authors’ credit is plagiarized as per HECplagiarism policy
