Introduction

Works department is integral part of the KUST management. At present 02 Project Directors, 03 Assistant Directors, one consultant Engineer, 08 sub Engineers, 01 Computer Operator, 01 Junior clerk & 01 peon are working with dedication for the execution of civil works including various buildings and other infrastructures. Approximately 191 acres of land has been surrounded by boundary wall and fence. Master plan has been developed for the university.

Mission Statement

The mission of our department is to extend services to faculty and students and construct state of the art buildings, infrastructure etc.

Vision

Our vision is to build and maintain facilities like Library, auditorium, academic and admin blocks roads etc. which should be sufficient for next future requirements. These facilities should encompass all the ingredients which can support academic and research activities of faculty members and students. Besides that provision of residential facilities for students, teachers and other staff at university campus is also essential part and future planning of the department.

Achievements and Accomplishments:
Completed more than 12 No. civil works projects while 6 No. are in progress. A separate maintenance cell has been notified for rectification of day to day problems.
